Questions
Can it fix every file?
No. If part of the file is missing, as with a download that stopped halfway, those pages can't be brought back. You're told what was saved.
Why can't I select the text in my repaired copy?
For badly damaged files, the last resort saves pictures of the pages that could still be read. The result says when this happens.
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything happens in your browser. The file never leaves your device.
